Creation of VAG & Distribution in Paris. Distributed brands include Dana, LEONARD Paris, Snoopy and Markwins.
2007
VAG becomes the exclusive distributor in France for 4711 Original, the most famous Eau de Cologne, within the perfume and pharmacy network. VAG creates a sales force dedicated to pharmacies.
2008
VAG acquires the JEAN COUTURIER PARIS brand. A major change for the company, which begins to produce and sell internationally.
2009
VAG becomes the distributor of the MAVIVE group, with the PINO SILVESTRE brand, which strengthens its pharmacy catalogue, and successfully launches POLICE, and in particular the TO BE line.
2010
Previously a distributor of the famous luxury ready-to-wear brand, VAG becomes the licence holder for the world of LEONARD PARIS FRAGRANCES.
2013
VAG becomes the exclusive distributor of Claude MONTANA fragrances.
2014
In 2014, the Elizabeth Arden Group chose VAG as the new official distributor in France for perfumes, the Eight Hour skin cream line, Giorgio Beverly Hills, Juicy Couture and Geoffrey Beene.
2015
VAG signs a worldwide licence agreement with the famous French fashion brand for teenagers, LITTLE MARCEL.
2016
Beauty Success award for "The French selective distribution company that has best met the expectations of its customers for 15 years".
2017
VAG opens a second office in the city of Aix-en-Provence.
2018
Jacadi, top children's brand, chooses VAG for the French distribution of its toiletries and perfumes.
- After spending 20 years in selective distribution in France (L'Oreal, Diana De Silva), Victor Gambirasio founded VAG & DISTRIBUTION in 2004. Joined by his son Anthony Gambirasio in 2007, VAG is a family-owned company on a human scale, with an experienced and dynamic team who can boast perfect knowledge of the French market and who mobilise all of their skills in the service of our brands and customers.
With 35 years of presence, we are constantly adapting to evolutions in the market and the transformation of our customers, by building a portfolio of complementary brands year after year.
- Since 2007, VAG has been developing its distribution network in France, with a branch dedicated to pharmacies and parapharmacies.
- In 2009, VAG acquires the Jean Couturier perfume brand and begins international operations. This was followed by the licences for the LEONARD PARIS fragrances in 2010 and the Little Marcel fragrances in 2015.
Since 2017, VAG now has a second office in Aix-en-Provence.
